Love Hate Thing wins Battle of the Bands at ChambersFest

CHAMBERSBURG, Pa. — Love Hate Thing, a Chambersburg, Pa., band, won the Battle of the Bands at ChambersFest on Saturday evening at Wilson College, performing original music before a panel of judges and a crowd of rock fans.

BobRocks 101.5 and the Greater Chambersburg Chamber of Commerce invited bands from throughout the region to perform.

Love Hate Thing won $300 and one week of promotions on the radio station.

The group Defyance won a prize of $150 and will receive a show spotlight on 101.5 Bob Rock’s Home Grown Stash.

The free concert was one of the last events of ChambersFest. A Civil War seminar focused on the battles of Manassas and Ball’s Bluff will begin Wednesday and running through Saturday.
