Rotary Club of Long Meadows sends three to leadership training

The Rotary Club of Long Meadows selected three local students to attend the Rotary Young Leader Awards program.

The goal of the program is to help the students develop leadership skills such as forming consensus, team building and public speaking.

Seventy-two high school students from the Tri-State area attended the program, which was held at Juniata College in Huntingdon, Pa.

The students sponsored by Long Meadows Rotary are Kristina Cronise of St. Maria Goretti High School; Mariah Garnett of North Hagerstown High School and Christina Reimond of St. Maria Goretti.
