Three vehicles were involved Thursday morning in an accident on eastbound Interstate 70 two miles east of the Mapleville Road (Md. 66) exit (Exit 35).
Nobody was injured, according to Trooper Eichelberger of the Maryland State Police.
The accident happened when a pickup truck collided with the back of a car, which then collided with the rear of another pickup truck that was slowing down due to heavy traffic, Eichelberger said.
All three vehicles were traveling in the left lane and were moved to the right shoulder. after the crash. No lanes were closed as a result of the accident.
The car had to be towed from the scene.
