The Boys & Girls Club of Washington County will hold a groundbreaking ceremony for its new facility on Noland Drive.
The city of Hagerstown donated the property to the club for the project, which sits in the midst of the Noland Village Public Housing Community
"We are very excited to get this construction under way," said Jim Deaner, executive director of the Boys & Girls Club.
"Getting this project started means we are that much closer to impacting more lives in the Noland Village community. We have a great opportunity to improve the lives of so many youth in the area."
The groundbreaking ceremony will take place Tuesday, July 26, at 3 p.m. at the future location of the new Boys & Girls Club on Noland Drive.
The Boys & Girls Club serves local children at seven locations across Washington County. For more information, call the club at 301-733-5422.
