Holly “Sue” Henry Healy, 46, of 23341 Whitetail Road, Smithsburg, Md., went to be with the Lord Sunday, July 17, 2011, at her home, surrounded by her family.

Born Friday, March 12, 1965, in Hagerstown, Md., she was the daughter of the late Hollis E. Henry and the late Phyllis C. Hook Henry.

She graduated with the class of 1983 from Smithsburg High School and graduated from Allegany Community College with a degree in dental hygiene in 1987. She spent most of her dental career at the Potomac Dental Center. Most recently, she enjoyed her job as an independent broker with Hadley Farms Bakery.

She is survived by her husband of 25 years, Jay Healy of Smithsburg; daughter, Holly Nicole (Healy) Campbell and husband, Nikolas, of Smithsburg; son, Zachary Ryan Healy, at home; aunts, Emma Henry and Connie Hook, both of Hagerstown; and numerous cousins.

Every person Holly met has been touched by her infectious smile, bubbly personality and the ability to make a friend for life, which is why she has been blessed with so many. Her joy was hosting parties and meals at her house that were picture-perfect. She made every holiday, whether it was Christmas or a birthday, special with her own magic touch.

She was a devoted member of her church, Ringgold Church of Christ, where every Christmas, she took days decorating. She also, at one time, directed the children’s choir, which she loved doing.

Holly’s passion was cooking and you could always count on the Food Network Channel being on her television, where her favorite chef, Paula Deen, could be found. She would even make several road trips to Savannah with her family and friends to visit her restaurant and hope to get a glimpse of Paula herself. She loved planning family and friend vacations, especially Disney World and New York City.

Holly spent many years as a cheerleading coach at Smithsburg High School, and most recently, she could be found at her son Zach’s sporting events, cheering on the side. She also, for many years, was involved in the local Miss Maryland organization, most recently judging the Miss Frederick pageant.

Holly loved her family, as well as just loving life! She will leave a lifetime of memories in the hearts of many.

Family will receive friends at Ringgold Church of Christ, 14414 Barkdoll Road, Hagerstown, MD 21742 on Thursday, July 21, 2011, from 5 to 8 p.m.

Services will be Friday, July 22, 2011, at 11 a.m., at Ringgold Church of Christ with Pastor Don Conley officiating.

Interment will follow at Ringgold Cemetery, Hagerstown, MD 21742.

Memorial donations may be made to Cumberland Valley Breast Cancer Awareness, 322 E. Antietam St., Suite 101, Hagerstown, MD 21740.
