HALFWAY — Three people were injured Friday morning when two cars collided at the intersection of Virginia Avenue (U.S. 11) and Lincoln Avenue, Trooper George of the Maryland State Police said.

The driver of one car and the driver and a passenger in the other car were taken by Volunteer Fire Co. of Halfway paramedic units to Meritus Medical Center with non-life threatening injuries, George said.
