Pastor Jacquelyn Dixon was delighted by the huge turnout for her pastoral anniversary as well as a celebration of her birthday on July 7 during the Sunday program.

The Rev. Leroy Moore of York, Pa., was the guest preacher for the day with the message, “Be Busy Like Bees.”

The music was provided by the Praise Team with songs such as “Tomorrow,” “God Is Standing By,” “Grateful,” and “I Am On The Battlefield.”

After the morning service, a meal was served.

Congratulations, Pastor Dixon, and a happy belated birthday.

Bus trip donations are still needed for the annual For Our Kids’ Sake bus trip to the amusement park. The organizers said they are coming up a little short and the Aug. 6 trip is getting closer.

They said no donation is too small; they just need your help to put a smile on the faces of the neighborhood children who want to go on the trip.

You can make a donation at any Hagerstown Trust Bank branch, at account No. 141518.

For more information, call 301-739-2557.
