Paternal grandparents are Deborah and Boyd Hirth of Berkeley Springs, W.Va., and Emory Nester Jr. of Kearneysville, W.Va. Maternal great-grandparents are the late Betty and Carlton Gibson. Paternal great-grandparents are Emory Sr. and Bettie Nester of Kearneysville.
