Phyllis Elaine Anglin, 78, of Maple Avenue, Boonsboro, Md., passed away Monday, July 11, 2011, at her home.
Born Dec. 17, 1932, in Sharpsburg, Md., she was the daughter of the late Vincent and Marguerite (Clipp) Rayski.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Frank W. Anglin, on Aug. 10, 2002.
She was a graduate of Boonsboro High School Class of 1950.
She was a homemaker.
She was a member of Valley Grace Brethren Church of Hagerstown.
She is survived by daughters, Linda Diane Carr of Williamsport, Joan M. Day of Boonsboro; foster daughter, Victoria Ann Montero of New Port Richie, Fla.; sister, Frances "Betsy" Moore of Hagerstown; brother, Roger Rayski of Hagerstown; grandchildren, Jason A. Day, Mandy Caufman and T.J. Carr; and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by one sister, Doris Martin.
A memorial service will be held Thursday, July 14, 2011, at 8 p.m. at J.L. Davis Funeral Home, Smithsburg, Md., with Pastor Ray Barger officiating. The family will receive friends one hour before the service.
