The Alsatia Club has awarded three scholarships.

The Robert and Hilda Worthington Memorial Scholarship was awarded to Bradley S. Miller, son of Debra Consoletti-Miller of Williamsport.

Bradley plans to pursue a degree in engineering at Virginia Tech University.

The $500 Worthington Scholarship was established by Hilda Worthington in memory of her husband, Robert, a longtime member of the Alsatia Club. Hilda Worthington died in 2010 and her family has continued the scholarship.

The Alsatia Club Foundation awarded two $500 scholarships to graduating seniors.

Kandis Stoy from Williamsport High and Jenna Hull from Hancock Middle/Senior High School were the recipients.

Stoy, the daughter of Susan and John Stoy, plans to attend Shepherd University and major in business.

Hull, the daughter of Loye and Donna Hull, will attend West Virginia University and major in nursing.

The foundation is a local nonprofit organization with goals of helping promote local students and community events.
