Mr. Stephen Timothy “Tim” Kneasel, 55, of 185 Mount Pleasant Road, Fayetteville, Pa., passed away Sunday, July 3, 2011, at his home. His death was unexpected and attributed to natural causes.

Born May 18, 1956, in Waynesboro, Pa., he was the son of the late Irwin William and Mildred (Pennell) Kneasel.

Mr. Kneasel was a machinist assembler for Landis Tool Company, Waynesboro, with more than 20 years of service. He also worked for Martin Marietta Aerospace in Baltimore, Md.

He was a member the Owls Club, Waynesboro, and enjoyed hunting, fishing, collecting guns and spending time with his family.

He is survived by his wife, Wanda (Repp) Kneasel; four children, Christopher Phillip Kneasel, Andrea Nicole Barrow and Amy Jo Mull, all of Waynesboro, and Austin Cole Kneasel of Frederick, Md.; four grandsons, Christian Bishop, Kaleb Bishop, Bryce Mull and Gabriel Barrow; one sister, Laura Hoover of Waynesboro; two brothers, Andy Kneasel of Baltimore and Charlie Kneasel of Waynesboro; and nieces and nephews.

In addition to his parents, Mr. Kneasel was preceded in death by a son, Anthony Ray Barlup; a grandson, Anthony R. Barlup II; and a brother, Rolly Kneasel.

Services will be at 2 p.m., Friday, July 8, 2011, at Grove-Bowersox Funeral Home, 50 S. Broad St., Waynesboro, with the Rev. A. Robert Cook officiating. Burial will follow in Quincy Cemetery, Quincy, Pa.

The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home.
