Robert Edward “Bob” Eisiminger Jr. went home to be with the Lord on July 1, 2011. Bob was 93 on June 22, 2011.

Bob was born and raised in South Western, Pa. He was the son of the late Robert Edward Eisiminger Sr. and Mabel Horton Eisiminger.

Upon graduation from Penn State University in 1942, he and his new bride, Donna Breese Eisiminger, moved to Columbus, Ohio, where he worked for Curtis Wright from 1942 to 1950. They made their home in Hagerstown, Md., from 1950 to 1963, while he was working at Fairchild.

They were members of John Wesley United Methodist Church, where he served as a Sunday school teacher.

Moving to Columbus, Bob continued his involvement in the aircraft industry at Rockwell International.

They became members at Reynoldsburg United Methodist Church in Reynoldsburg, Ohio.

After retiring from Rockwell, they moved to Napa, Calif. In December 2010, he moved back to the Hagerstown area and had been attending Hagerstown Bible Church.

Bob is survived by four children, daughters, Carol Hill and husband, Jack, of Hagerstown, Elaine Jackson of Boulder Creek, Calif., and Ali Streber of Kettering, Ohio, and a son, Roy Eisiminger and wife, Cheri, of Napa. He was the loving grandfather to 13 grandchildren and great-grandfather to 27 great-grandchildren. He is also survived by two half brothers, Gerald Eisiminger of Florida and Edward Eisiminger of California; two sisters-in-law, Eldon Day of Pompano Beach, Fla., and Erma Thomas of Claysville, Pa.; and several nieces, nephews and cousins.

He was preceded in death by his parents, his loving wife, Donna, and son-in-law, Jim Streber of Kettering.

Memorial services will be held Saturday, July 16, 2011, at 2 p.m. at Hagerstown Bible Church, 203 Summit Ave., Hagerstown.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Camp Tohiglo, c/o Hagerstown Bible Church, 203 Summit Ave., Hagerstown, MD 21740.

Arrangements have been entrusted to Douglas A. Fiery Funeral Home, 1331 Eastern Blvd. North, Hagerstown.
