Students offer dental advice to fourth-graders

MAUGANSVILLE —
Six dental assisting students at Hagerstown Community College recently gave a dental awareness presentation to fourth-grade students at Maugansville Elementary School.



The presentation focused on cavity awareness, healthy nutrition for teeth and the dangers of smoking and smokeless tobacco. The presentation also included demonstrations on tooth brushing and flossing.



Students who participated in the presentation included Allison Flynn of Boonsboro; Cassandra Aleshire, Anna Banca, Hannah Barton and Amy Snyder, all of Hagerstown; and Jennifer Yeakle of Hancock.
