FALLING WATERS, W.Va. — Traffic on Interstate 81 was disrupted for about an hour Thursday morning following a single-vehicle accident.
The southbound lanes and one northbound lane of I-81 near Falling Waters, W.Va., were closed following the accident at about 8:35 a.m., a Berkeley County Emergency Services supervisor said.
The accident occurred near the 21.5-mile marker, about halfway between the Falling Waters/Marlowe and Spring Mills exits.
Traffic in both directions was flowing smoothly again by about 9:45 a.m.
