Two of the three people who were injured in an accident Tuesday morning on Md. 65 near Antietam National Battlefield remained at Meritus Medical Center on Wednesday, a hospital spokeswoman said.

Richard Nutzman, of Harpers Ferry, W.Va., and William Lee, of McLean, Va., were listed in good condition Wednesday, the spokeswoman said.

A third person who was taken to the hospital, Cynthia Nutzman, also of Harpers Ferry, was treated and released.

Maryland State Police said the accident occurred at about 11:15 a.m. Tuesday, when the Hyundai Tucson that Lee was driving pulled from Dunker Church Road and collided with a Subaru Forester that the Nutzmans were driving north on Md. 65.
