MORGANTOWN, W.Va. — Camille Heim, a sophomore at West Virginia University majoring in prepharmacy, was recognized with the Presidential Award for Excellence in Scholarship for earning a 4.0 grade-point average for the spring term.

Heim recently was inducted into Chimes, the West Virginia University Junior Honorary Society in recognition of scholastic achievement, leadership and excellence.

Heim will begin Pharmacy School at WVU in the fall, after a five-week study-abroad program this summer at Universidad Internacional Menendez y Pelayo in Santander, Spain.

Heim is a 2009 graduate of Boonsboro High School. She is the daughter of Ed and Janet Heim of Hagerstown.

LANCASTER, Pa. — Jordan Barr of Hagerstown was named to the dean’s list for the spring semester at Franklin and Marshall College.

Barr is a graduate of Saint James School. He is the son of Scott Barr and Alice Barr of Hagerstown.

BRIDGEWATER, Va. — Andrew Routzahn of Clear Spring recently was inducted into Phi Alpha Theta, the international history honor society, at Bridgewater College.

Routzahn is a senior majoring in history and political science with a minor in philosophy and religion.
