Washington County Ag Expo registration deadline is Wednesday

Do you like to show off your baking talent? What about your knitting or sewing skills? Do you grow the most prized tomatoes in the neighborhood? Do you own a goat that knows how to strut its stuff?   

Here is your chance to compete with others in your community at the Washington County Ag Expo and Fair, from July 23 to 30 at the Washington County Agricultural Education Center off Sharpsburg Pike, seven miles south of Hagerstown.

The deadline for all entries is Wednesday.

Entries must include your department, section and class. You can enter multiple classes. Ribbons and premiums are awarded in most classes.  

Classes to exhibit include youth, 4-H, FFA, adult, senior and adults with special needs.

There are classes for everyone, including cats, goats, dogs, alpacas, agricultural products, crafts, food preservation, fresh fruits and vegetables, garden products, horticulture, baked goods, photography, sewing, needlework, weaving, woodworking, arts, cows, beef, swine, rabbits and horses. Specific rules and regulations apply to all classes
