CLEAR SPRING — Valley defeated Clear Spring 13-11 on Saturday to advance to the Maryland District 1 9-10 Tournament winners' bracket semifinals.
Brendan Kemp and Chase Miller had three hits each and Chris Martin struck out four for Valley, which will host National on Tuesday at 6 p.m.
Garret Hose and Tanner Sines each had two hits and an RBI for Clear Spring, which will travel to South Mountain for a losers' bracket game Monday at 6 p.m.
