Martha M. Whittington, 85, of Ranson, W.Va., died Wednesday, June 22, 2011, at Jefferson Memorial Hospital, Ranson. The family will receive friends today from 6 to 8 p.m. at Melvin T. Strider Colonial Funeral Home, Charles Town, W.Va. A graveside service will be Friday at 11 a.m. at Edge Hill Cemetery, Charles Town.
