Vehicle hits utility pole at Sharpsburg Park and Ride

A vehicle hit a wire on a utility pole at the Sharpsburg Park and Ride Friday afternoon, according to the Maryland State Police. Nobody was injured, a state trooper said.

The vehicle was driveable, but Verizon had to fix the wire, according to the trooper. The incident did not affect traffic.

The incident happened at 12:50 p.m., and the scene was cleared at 1:05p.m., the trooper said.
