One-vehicle accident closes part of Longmeadow Road

Longmeadow Road was closed off between Marsh Pike and Highlane Street Thursday morning due to a single-vehicle accident.

The vehicle was upside down on the sidewalk on Longmeadow Road just past the intersection with Marsh Pike.

Two firetrucks from the Longmeadow Volunteer Fire Company were on the scene in addition to the Maryland State Police and the Washington County Sheriff's Department. An ambulance from the Hagerstown Community Rescue Service was also on the scene.
