Mile Long Plus Annual Yard Sale | July 4

Community yard sale that is an annual tradition. Begins at 7 a.m. Along Long Meadow Road, north of Hagerstown.


Waynesboro Summer Jubilee | July 4

Most activities held across the street from Waynesboro Hospital, whose address is 501 E. Main St., Waynesboro, Pa. Firecracker five-kilometer run, parade down Main Street,, with activities scheduled after the parade including children's games, exhibit, live entertainment. Fireworks at dusk. Retreat through Williamsport | July 6 and July 8-10

A weekend of activities to commemorate the 150th anniversary of the Civil War, and the retreat of the Confederate army from Gettysburg, Pa., in 1863. Contemporary American Theater Festival | July 8- 31

Fort Frederick Garrison | July 9-10

Artillery program | July 30-31
