Harry George Rinehart, 44, of Falling Waters, W.Va., died Monday, June 13, 2011, at his home.

Born June 25, 1966, in Washington County, Md., he was the son of Nancy Lee Draper Kackley of Martinsburg, W.Va., and the late Charles Martin Rinehart Sr.

He graduated from Smithsburg High School in 1985.

He served in the U.S. Army Airborne.

He retired from RCI in April as a sergeant with 20 years of service.

He was an avid hunter and fisherman, along with being a die-hard Steelers and Yankees fan.

In addition to his mother and stepfather, Michael Kackley, he is survived by his wife, Heather Rinehart; a daughter, Sarah Rinehart, and a son, Jacob Rinehart, both at home; two sisters, Michele Harris of Martinsburg and Crystal Blizzard of Hedgesville, W.Va.; two brothers, John Rinehart of Smithsburg, Md., and Charles “Marty” Martin Rinehart Jr. of Charles Town, W.Va.; stepbrothers; cousins; nieces; and nephews.

Services will be at 1 p.m. Friday at Minnich Funeral Home, 415 E. Wilson Blvd., Hagerstown. The Rev. A. Paul Harne will officiate.  

The family will receive friends at the funeral home Thursday from 4 to 8 p.m.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Harry Rinehart Memorial Fund, for his children’s education, 156 Michigan Drive, Falling Waters, WV 25419.
