Art show planned

Valley Art Association will hold an art show titled "Seasons: Painting after Fifty" during the month of July at the Mansion House Art Gallery, 501 Highland Drive in Hagerstown.

The show will be on view Fridays and Saturdays from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. and Sundays from 1 to 5 p.m.

The show will be a collection of landscape and portrait, acrylic and oil paintings, painted over the last four years, begun after the artist turned 52 years old.

Tuesday — Jay Frantz will present "I Only Have Eyes for You," about the Nicaragua Mission for Vision.

Group to meet

Historic City Park Neighborhoods 1st Group will meet today at 7 p.m. at Emmanuel Methodist Church, on the corner of Summit and Howard streets inHagerstown.

The speaker will be Ken Young, who will talk about traffic projects.

Car show

 The Mason-Dixon Region Automobile Club of America will hold its annual car show and flea market Saturday, June 25, from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the Washington County Agricultural Education Center, 7313 Sharpsburg Pike.

Registration costs $8 per vehicle. Dash plaques will be given to the first 75 vehicles registered.

Food will be available and there will be a bake sale.

 Proceeds will support the transportation museum at the ag center.
