Doug Demarco got a lesson from Kevin the Klown on how to twirl a pie plate at the variety show sponsored by Tri-State Civitan Club for students at the Marshall Street School, Job Development Center, and individuals from Star Community and other groups.

John Dodge the Magician, ventriloquist and leader of the group, is well-known for entertaining children in hospitals. Jack Stanton played his guitar and sang with audience participation, and Kevin the Klown's antics delighted the packed audience.

A swing dance performance by Pam and Steve Springer wowed the crowd, especially the "hand jive" as they encouraged the audience to participate.

Tri-State Civitan Club is thankful for donations from area residents and businesses who make the event possible.

The nonprofit club helps those with developmental disabilities.
