Kathleen Ann McCleaf Oyler, 100, formerly of Devonshire Road, Hagerstown, Md., died Saturday, June 11, 2011, at Ravenwood Lutheran Village.

Born March 28, 1911, in Gettysburg, Pa., she was the daughter of the late Edward K. and Ruth Sanders McCleaf.
She was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church.

She was a member of Moose Lodge, Hagerstown, AARP and Owls Club.

She is survived by two daughters, Roxanna Vinson and Beatrice C. Smith, both of Hagerstown; two sons, Charles E. Oyler of Hagerstown and Richard N. Oyler of Williamsport, Md.; one sister, Ruth Heck of Gettysburg; 28 grandchildren; 39 great-grandchildren; and 16 great-great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by one daughter, Shirley K. Kendell; three sons, Robert Oyler, Howard L. Oyler Jr. and Harry J. Oyler; two grandchildren, Rachel “Kat” Nave and Richard “Mooner” Oyler; six sisters; and six brothers.

Services will be at 1 p.m. Tuesday at Minnich Funeral Home, 415 E. Wilson Blvd., Hagerstown. Burial will be in Rose Hill Cemetery.

The family will receive friends Tuesday one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.
