Sharon Kay Banzhoff, 66, of Williamsport, Md., died Friday, June 10, 2011, at Meritus Medical Center near Hagerstown, Md.
Born May 18, 1945, in Winchester, Va., she was the daughter of the late Lewis Allen Barbour Sr. and Theresa Virginia Twigg Barbour.
She was a 1963 graduate of Williamsport High School.
She was employed by the Maryland unemployment office, Hagerstown, until her retirement.
She was of the Protestant faith.
She was a member of Red Feather Council 59 Degree of Pocahontas, Williamsport.
Survivors include husband, Thomas Eugene "Tom" Banzhoff of Williamsport, whom she married May 8, 1964; daughter, Tammy J. Hoover and her husband, Mark, of Williamsport; brother, Lewis A. "Lou" Barbour Jr. of Hagerstown; granddaughter, Shayla B. Burch and her husband, Rocky, of Martinsburg, W.Va.; granddaughter, Ashton N. Hoover of Williamsport; and great-grandchildren, Mallory and Jordan.
She was predeceased by two infant sisters.
The family will receive friends at the Osborne Funeral Home, 425 S. Conococheague St., Williamsport, on Monday, June 13, 2011, from 6 to 8 p.m. The funeral home will be open after 9 a.m. on Monday for the convenience of family and friends.
Funeral services will be held at Osborne Funeral Home, 425 S. Conococheague St., Williamsport, on Tuesday, June 14, 2011, at 10 a.m., with the Rev. Robert V. Robinson officiating. Interment will be in Greenlawn Memorial Park, Williamsport.
