Williamsport's Baker signs to wrestle at Ashland University

Kemper Baker, who graduated from Williamsport last week, recently signed a letter of intent to continue his career at Ashland (Ohio) University, which has an NCAA Division II program.
Baker had a 131-21 overall record at Williamsport, setting the school record for career wins. He was a three-time Maryland Class 2A-1A state placewinner and a four-time Washington County champion, winning titles at 112 pounds, 119, 125 and 140.
As a sophmore in 2009, he was the state champ at 119.
Former Williamsport star Matt Allen, who won a state title at 189 as a senior in 2002, also wrestled at Ashland.
