Lester Joseph Miller, 86, of Bunker Hill, W.Va., died Tuesday, June 7, 2011, at the Veterans Affairs Medical Center in Martinsburg, W.Va.

Born June 3, 1925, in Big Spring, Md., he was the son of the late Harry and Bertha Moon Miller.

He was a veteran of the U.S. Army Air Corps, having served in World War II. He was a flight engineer for 22 missions on a B-17.

He is survived by one son, Michael Miller and wife, Debbie, of Bunker Hill; two daughters, Jo Ann Kuhn and husband, John IV, of Bunker Hill, and Sandra Good of Harrisburg, Pa.; four grandchildren, Bradlee Miller, Ryan Miller, Sarah Kuhn and Jackie Good; one sister, Marie Irvin of Clear Spring, Md.; a number of nieces and nephews; and friend, Jeanne Zirk of Bunker Hill.

Funeral services will be Friday, June 10, 2011, at 10 a.m. at South Berkeley Chapel, Inwood, W.Va. Interment will be in Blair's Valley Cemetery, Clear Spring.

The family will receive friends Thursday, June 9, 2011, from 7 to 9 p.m. at the funeral chapel.
