HAGERSTOWN — The New Joy Fellowship Seventh-day Adventist Church children’s puppet team in Hagerstown and five Christian clowns from the Breath of Life Church in Fort Washington, Md., held a pre-Mother’s Day event May 7 at City Park in Hagerstown.

The clowns performed skits and sculpted balloon animals, hats and toys.

The puppets told a Bible story about Joseph and sang songs with character-building themes.

New Joy Fellowship members distributed cards to enroll the audience inside and outside the north pavilion in the children’s drawing for a 10-volume set of The Bible Story and the mothers’ drawing for a gift basket.
