Mary Louise Plank, 87, of 18728 Wagaman Road, Hagerstown, Md., died on Tuesday, May 31, 2011, at Reeders Memorial Home in Boonsboro, Md.

Born July 29, 1923, in Washington County, Md., she was the daughter of the late Walter and Mary Pearl Harsh Beckley.

She was preceded in death by her husband of 63 years, Kenneth George Plank, who died March 5, 2006.

She was a homemaker and employed part-time as a cafeteria worker at E. Russell Hicks Middle School.

She was a lifelong member of Salem Reformed Church, where she taught Sunday School for many years and sang in the choir.

She was a member of Fairplay Volunteer Fire Co. since 1975 and the Clear Spring Homemakers Association.

She is survived by two sons, Kenneth Perry Plank and his wife, Sharon, of Scranton, Pa., and Edwin L . Plank and his wife, Eunice, of Hagerstown; three sisters, Betty Eckstine, Joanne Saunders and Margaret Sprecher; one grandson, Scott Stotelmyer and wife, Katie, of Hagerstown; three great-grandchildren, Kasayus, Leah and Jonathan, all of Hagerstown; and numerous nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by three sisters, Elizabeth Grab, Edith Seibert and Genevieve Schnebly; and three brothers, Paul Beckley, Walter Beckley Jr. and Elmer Beckley.

Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday at Salem Reformed Church.  The Rev. Steve Wagoner will officiate. Burial will be in Salem Reformed Cemetery.

Family will receive friends at the Minnich Funeral Home, 415 E. Wilson Blvd., Hagerstown on Friday from 6 to 9 p. m.
