Vacation Bible School to run from June 26 to 30

St Mark’s will hold Vacation Bible School from June 26 to 30 from 6 to 8 p.m. each day.

St Mark’s is at 601 Washington Ave. in Hagerstown.

 The theme will be “Hometown Nazareth: Where Jesus Was a Kid!”  It will include songs, stories and crafts.

Children’s Miracle Network fundraiser

Sam’s Club of Hagerstown will hold a yard sale June 3, 4, 10, 11, 24 and 25, with all proceeds from rented spaces going to the Children’s Miracle Network. Spaces are available for $15 for two; $25 for four; or $30 for six.

Comedy tour to be held June 17

The Make Me Laugh Comedy Tour will be at Next Dimensions in Hagerstown on Friday, June 17. Tickets cost $12 in advance or $15 at the door. VIP passes are also available. Doors open at 7 p.m. and the show starts at 9 p.m.

Monday, June 6 — Line dancing, 10 to 11 a.m.; cards/dominoes, 10 a.m. to 2:30 p.m.; “Walk Away the Pounds,” 11 a.m. to noon; strength training, 1 to 2 p.m.

Tuesday, June 7 — “Walk Your Belly Flat,” 10 to 11 a.m.; computer instruction 10 a.m. to noon; Cards/Dominoes 10 a.m. to 2:30 p.m.; Spanish conversation, 11 a.m. to noon; knitting/crochet, 12:30 to 2:30 p.m.; “Walk Your Belly Flat,” 1 to 2 p.m.

Wednesday, June 8 — Line dancing, 10 to 11 a.m.;  painting class  (fees apply), 10 a.m. to noon; cards/dominoes, 10 a.m. to 2:30 p.m.; “Walk Away the Pounds,” 11 a.m. to noon; bead class (fees apply), 12:30 to 2:30 p.m.; chair yoga, 1 to 2 p.m.

Thursday, June 9 — Gym closes at 11 a.m.; step aerobics 10 to 11 a.m.; computer instruction, 10 a.m. to noon; cards/dominoes, 10 a.m. to 2:30 p.m.; knitting/crochet, 12:30 to 2:30 p.m.; “Walk Your Belly Flat,” 1 to 2 p.m.

Summer hours for the senior center are 10 a.m. to 2:30 p.m., and no group piano will be offered during summer months.

The center is at 626 Washington Ave. in Hagerstown. It is open to all senior citizens ages 55 and older.
