The Fort Detrick Alliance will host an expo and networking event in the Elliott Center at Hagerstown Community College on Wednesday, June 15, from 4 to 7 p.m.
The event is free and open to the public.
Attendees will have the opportunity to learn more about the installation commands and tenant organizations at Fort Detrick in Frederick, Md. Representatives will be on hand from the U.S. Army Medical Materiel Development Activity, U.S. Army Research Institute of Infectious Diseases, Navy Medical Logistics Command, National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases Integrated Research Facility, SAIC, Mount St. Mary’s University, and HCC’s Technical Innovation Center, the college’s business incubator with wet lab space for biotech start-ups. HCC will feature information about its STEM (science, technology, engineering, math) programs including biotechnology, cybersecurity, and alternative energy technology.
