Anita Louise Haines, 66, of 13708 Kenneth St. Hagerstown, Md., died Monday, May 30, 2011, at Meritus Medical Center near Hagerstown.

Born Aug. 24, 1944, in Hagerstown, she was the daughter of the late Catherine Virginia Sharer Doyle.

She was previously employed by Richardson's Restaurant, Hagerstown.

She was a Catholic.

She was a homemaker.

She enjoyed spending time with her family and crocheting.

Survivors include her husband, Dearl W. "Jack" Haines Sr. of Hagerstown; son, Dearl W. "Jackie" Haines Jr. of Hagerstown; son, Daniel W. Haines and his wife, Kim, of Hagerstown; son, Dennis W. Haines of Hagerstown; son, Douglas W. Haines of Hagerstown; half sister, Gloria Doyle of Hagerstown; grandchildren, Dustin W. Haines and his fiancee, Kelly, Jacob D. "Jake" Haines, Mark J. Grim and Amanda D. Grim; great-grandchildren, Austin, Alexus, Malaina and Kole; and nieces, nephews and cousins.

She was predeceased by one sister, Carmen Arvin.

Funeral services will be held at Osborne Funeral Home, 425 S. Conococheague St., Williamsport, Md., on Friday, June 3, 2011, at 11 a.m., with Pastor Ken Harris officiating. Interment will be in Cedar Lawn Memorial Park, Hagerstown.

The family will receive friends one hour prior to the funeral service on Friday from 10 to 11 a.m. The funeral home will be open after 9 a.m. on Friday for the convenience of family and friends.
