Vickie Eloise (Taylor) Clem, 57, of Falling Waters, W.Va., died Friday, May 27, 2011, at her home in Falling Waters, W.Va.

Born Aug. 28, 1953, in Hagerstown, Md., she was the daughter of the late Harold E. and Margaret Edna (Metz) Taylor. She was the wife of Jack Walter Clem, Falling Waters, whom she married Sept. 19, 2002.

Vickie graduated in the Class of 1971 from North Hagerstown High School, Hagerstown. She received an associate degree from Hagerstown Community College in 1996; attended Hood College in Frederick, Md., where she was working on a bachelor's degree; and recently obtained a certificate for medical billing from Valley College, Martinsburg, W.Va.

Vickie was currently employed by Manpower in the medical billing department of a medical practice. In addition to her work, Vickie was a volunteer at the Washington County Commission on Aging, the American Red Cross, Hagerstown and the Martinsburg VA Medical Center, Martinsburg. She enjoyed the flowers in her garden; neighborhood walks with her two dogs, Gus and Sophie; and long motorcycle rides with her husband.

Vickie is survived by one daughter, Terri M. Shoemaker-Kreit; two grandchildren, Kelton B. Miller and Chloe S. Kreit; one sister, Beverly Stotler; four brothers, Harold Taylor, Ricky Taylor, both of Hagerstown, Harry Taylor of McConnellsburg, Pa., and Roger Taylor of Chewsville, Md.

In addition to her parents, Vickie was preceded in death by one sister, Rebecca Taylor, and two brothers, Earl Taylor and Robert Taylor.

The funeral service will be 10:30 a.m., Saturday, June 4, 2011, at the Gerald N. Minnich Funeral Home, 305 N. Potomac St., Hagerstown. The Rev. John W. Schildt will officiate. Burial will be in Cedar Lawn Memorial Park, Hagerstown.

The visitation will be 6 to 8 p.m., Friday, June 3, 2011, at the funeral home.
