ATLANTA  — The National Society of High School Scholars announced that Rayne M. Fiery of Clear Spring High School has been selected for membership.

She is the daughter of John A. Fiery Jr. and Amber L. Fiery of Clear Spring.



CLEMSON, S.C.. — Julie A. Cook graduated magna cum laude from Clemson University’s Calhoun Honors College on May 13 with a major in communication studies and a minor in legal studies.  

She is a member of the Phi Beta Kappa and Golden Key honor societies.  

She is a 2008 graduate of Williamsport High School.

She is the daughter of Bill and Ann Cook of Boonsboro, and the granddaughter of Patricia C. Parks of Hagerstown.  

She will attend William and Mary School of Law in September.



MORGANTOWN, W.Va. — Phi Sigma Theta announced that Preston Dick of Williamsport, the son of Matthew and Teresa Dick of Williamsport, recently became a member of Phi Sigma Theta, the national honor society at West Virginia University.



BREVARD, N.C.  — Teresa Marie Musick of Hagerstown was named to the dean’s list for the spring semeser at Brevard College.
