Tornado warning has expired

A tornado warning issued for Washington and Allegany counties in Maryland and Berkeley and Morgan counties in West Virginia has expired, the National Weather Service in Sterling, Va., announced at 11:45 a.m. Wednesday.

The thunderstorm that prompted the warning had weakened below severe limits, the NWS said.
