Cornerstone Community Church is holding a yard sale Saturday from 7:30 a.m. to noon.
The church is on the corner of First and Spruce streets in Hagers-town. Enter the building from the ramp entrance on First Street. The event will be held rain or shine.
The yard sale will include church, office and home items, including folding tables and chairs, cabinets, kitchen items, children’s tables and chairs.
Mr. South High Pageant
South Hagerstown High School will host the Mr. South High Pageant on Wednesday, May 25, at 7 p.m. in the South High auditorium.
Contestants will strut their stuff in casual, evening clothing. There also will be a talent category, and each contestant will answer a question from the judges.
The winner will receive a free yearbook and other prizes. There also will be an audience vote for the most popular contestant. Raffles also will be offered.
Admission fee for the pageant is $2 for students and $4 for nonstudents. Those younger than 4 will be admitted free.
Stress and weight
The Washington County Health Department will offer a program titled “EBT: A Scientific Solution for Stress and Weight.”
Orientation for the EBT program will be Thursday, June 2, at 11 a.m. at the health department and at 7:15 p.m. at Western Maryland Hospital Center. Orientation also will be held Monday, June 6, at the Brunswick (Md.) Medical Center: Monday, July 11, at 5:30 p.m. at Western Maryland Hospital Center; and Thursday, July 14, at 5:30 p.m. at the Robinwood Professional Center.

Bingo
Western Enterprise Fire Co. will hold a summer barbecue bingo Sunday.
Doors open at 12:30 p.m. and bingo begins at 2 p.m. Tickets cost $20. There will be more than 25 cases of meat, such as hamburgers, hot dogs, ribs, chicken, pork chops and steaks to be won. There will also be tip jars and raffles.
