CHAMBERSBURG, Pa. — The Freedom Valley Chorus, a local chapter of Sweet Adelines International, invites all women to its guest nights scheduled for June 6, 13 and 20.

Women of all ages who enjoy singing are invited to attend any or all of the rehearsals.

Rehearsals are from 6:30 to 9:30 p.m. in the choir room of St. Paul United Methodist Church at 750 Norland Ave. in Chambersburg.

Guests will receive free singing lessons and learn a patriotic song or two alongside the members of the chorus.

The chorus, which consists of 25 women, sings a capella four-part harmony at performances throughout the community. Its annual October shows have been well-received by audiences. The opportunity to participate in regional barbershop singing competitions also is available each year.

Current members of the chorus are from Chambersburg and several communities in Franklin, Adams and Cumberland counties in Pennsylvania, as well as Hagerstown.
