CHAMBERSBURG, Pa. — Police are looking for a man who robbed a Patriot Federal Credit Union branch on Tuesday afternoon.
Chambersburg Police said a black man between 6-foot and 6 foot 4 inches tall walked into the credit union at 140 S. Federal St. at 4:36 p.m. and showed a handgun while demanding money.
The man left the credit union and fled on foot westbound toward Loudon Street (U.S. 30) after receiving an undisclosed amount of cash, police said in a news release. No injuries were reported, police said.
The man was described as having a slender build and scruffy facial hair, while wearing a floppy hat, a light-colored T-shirt and khaki-type shorts.
He was carrying a black backpack or shoulder-style bag.
