Road work continues on Interstate 81 at the Potomac River bridge near Williamsport and in the Marlowe, W.Va., area.
In Williamsport, the right shoulder of both northbound and southbound I-81 is closed for two miles north of the river because the highway is undergoing an evaluation, according to the Maryland State Highway Administration website.
The closure began Sunday and is expected to end Thursday.
In West Virginia, the Marlowe overpass bridge construction project is still in its early stages.
Work is continuing on the bridge site near Exit 23. There will be periodic lane closures until the project is completed.
