Chris Kulik had three hits, including a triple, a double and three RBIs, to lead Hagerstown Community College past Chesapeake 9-6 on Thursday in a Maryland JuCo contest.
Danny Morris had two doubles and an RBI, and Tyler Walsh and Tyeler Presgraves had two hits and an RBI each for the Hawks (29-18).

Will Bowen hit the game-winning RBI double in the bottom of the 10th inning to score Ryan Butts and give Williamsport a victory over South Hagerstown in an MVAL Antietam game completed on Wednesday after being started on April 4.
Connor Arnone had a game-tying, two-out RBI single in the eighth, and Zach Lucas pitched three innings of relief, allowing only one run to pick up the win for the Wildcats.

MERCERSBURG, Pa. — Matt Timoney singled in the winning run in the bottom of the eighth inning as Mercersburg Academy beat Martinsburg.
Matt McMahon singled, advanced to second on a walk, took third on a sacrifice and scored on Timoney’s base hit.
Tucker Sandercock hit a solo home run for the Blue Storm (10-3).
Cedric Brown had three hits, while Deryk Shrout and Zach Woolcock added two hits apiece for Martinsburg.

BRIEF
True Grit banquet
Local distance runner Susan Graham-Gray will be the guest speaker for the annual True Grit banquet on May 10 at Fountain Head Country Club
The True Grit award honors athletes who might not be the stars of their teams, but have overcome obstacles to remain a member of the team.
Students are honored from the public and private high schools in the county and Hagerstown Community College.
The banquet begins at 6 p.m. Tickets cost $25 per person and are on sale at the Hagerstown YMCA front desk. For information, call 301-739-3990.
