April 28, 2011|Melita Wishard | Around Maugansville

The Maugansville Historical Society is asking Maugansville residents to help revive a May Day tradition by hanging or exhibiting a basket of flowers on the first Sunday in May — May Day. It can contain live or artificial flowers and can be any size. Let's see Maugansville blooming this Sunday.

Indoor tables will be set up May 20. Vendors can bring in their wares and set up from 6 to 8 p.m.
