Hagerstown Police respond to incidents

The Hagerstown Police Department responded to the following incidents, according to spokeswoman Barbara Pickett:

April 22


  • A vehicle with a suspended registration was towed from Langley Drive and Edgewood Drive.
  • A hit-and-run car crash occurred at 219 N. Cleveland Ave.
  • A counterfeit check was reported in the 500 block of Frederick Street.
  • A domestic-violence referral was made in the 200 block of Hayes Court.
  • A domestic-violence referral was made in the 800 block of Florida Avenue.
  • A domestic-violence referral was made in the 200 block of Frederick Street.
  • A theft was reported at the CVS store on Cannon Avenue.




Saturday


  • A missing person was reported in the 600 block of Potomac Avenue.
  • A man was arrested for driving under the influence in the first block of West Franklin Street.
  • A woman was arrested for driving under the influence in the 1700 block of Dual Highway.
  • A motorcycle was damaged when it was pushed over in the 200 block of North Mulberry Street.
  • A theft was reported in the 300 block of Reynolds Avenue.
  • A man was arrested for public intoxication in the 300 block of West Washington Street.
  • A theft of a vehicle license plate was reported in the 20 block of Madison Avenue. The license plate was New York tag FFT9398.
  • A person was hurt in a car crash at South Potomac and West Baltimore streets.
  • A domestic-violence assault was reported in the first block of Belview Avenue.
  • A theft of a three-wheel bicycle was reported at the CVS store on Potomac Avenue.
  • A theft was reported in the 800 block of Virginia Avenue.

  • A Wii game console was reported stolen in the 100 block of Ray Street.
  • A man was arrested for driving under the influence in the 200 block of Summit Avenue.
  • A theft from a vehicle was reported at View and Mulberry Streets. An adult and two juveniles were arrested.
  • An assault was reported in the 800 block of West Franklin Street.
  • A burglary was reported in the 800 block of Pangborn Boulevard.
  • A domestic-violence incident was reported in the 1200 block of Potomac Avenue.
  • A theft was reported in the 200 block of South Potomac Street.
  • Counterfeit money was reported at the Sheetz store at 301 East Washington St.
  • Disorderly conduct was reported at North Avenue and Jonathan Street.

  • Damage to property was reported in the 100 block of Bester Street.
  • A person was hurt in a car crash in the 300 block of Kinslow Street.

  • Windows were damaged by BBs in the 1200 block of Garst Court.



Monday


  • A yellow Tomas moped was reported stolen in the 1000 block of Noland Drive. The moped was recovered.
  • Windows were damaged at Maryland Metals at 304 W. Church St.
  • A credit card was reported stolen in the 300 block of Linganore Avenue.
  • Cash was reported stolen from a purse at the McDonald's at 316 E. Washington St.
  • A three-wheel bike that had been reported stolen from CVS was found in Cortland Manor.
  • A burglary was reported in an apartment in the 500 block of West Church Street.
  • Damage to a rear window of a vehicle was reported in the 1000 block of Noland Drive.
  • A domestic assault was reported in the 300 block of South Cleveland Avenue. A man was arrested.

  • A violation of a protective order was reported in the 100 block of Ray Street. A man was arrested.
  • A domestic-violence incident was reported in the 500 block of Summit Avenue. A juvenile was charged.
  • A domestic-violence referral was made in the 200 block of Hayes Court.
  • A theft of a computer was reported in the 100 block of East North Avenue.
  • A burglary was reported at Pangborn Elementary School on Pangborn Boulevard.
  • A screen door was reported damaged in the 200 block of South Locust Street.
  • A theft was reported at the Food Lion at 761 East Wilson Blvd.
  • Damage to property was reported in the 200 block of Summit Avenue.
  • A robbery was reported in the 100 block of West Washington Street.
  • A group of people were involved in an altercation in the first block of Belview Avenue.
  • An assault was reported in the 200 block of South Potomac Street.
  • A domestic-violence incident was reported in the 1400 block of Haven Road.
  • A theft of a treestand was reported in the 80 block of Nottingham Road.
  • Graffiti was used to damage a vehicle in the 800 block of Dale Street. Some juveniles were charged.
  • A cellphone was reported stolen in the 800 block of Virginia Avenue.
  • An assault was reported in the 900 block of Lanvale Street.
  • A lost purse was reported in the 17000 block of Garland Groh Boulevard.
  • A theft from a vehicle was reported in the 700 block of Dual Highway.
  • A disorderly conduct incident was reported in the 600 block of North Prospect Street. A man was arrested.
  • A concealed weapon reported to be a knife was reported in the first block of North Burhans Boulevard. A man was arrested.
