BLACKSBURG, Va.,  — Cameron Hanlin of Hagerstown received a bachelor of science in business degree in finance from the Pamplin College of Business at Virginia Tech at its Dec. 17 commencement.


MIAMI — Kaplan University celebrated the graduation of its winter online class during a graduation ceremony Feb. 5 in Miami.
 
Bill Richardson, former two-term governor of New Mexico, U.S. Ambassador to the United Nations, U.S. Energy Secretary and multiple Nobel Peace Prize nominee, served as the commencement speaker.

The following Washington County students were awarded degrees:

  • Shannon M. Lawrence of Boonsboro was awarded an associate of applied science in accounting.
  • Laura Biser of Boonsboro was awarded a bachelor’s in business administration.
  • Tremecia Bryant of Hagerstown was awarded an associate of science in interdisciplinary studies.
  • Molly Cooper of Hagerstown was awarded a bachelor’s in legal studies.
  • Amy Donald of Hagerstown was awarded an associate of applied science in health sciences.
  • Ana Maria Enciu of Hagerstown was awarded a bachelor’s in criminal justice.
  • Wayne Gray of Hagerstown was awarded an associate of applied science in criminal justice.
  • Keith Ives of Hagerstown was awarded a bachelor’s in information technology.
  • Susan Smith of Hagerstown was awarded a bachelor’s in business administration.
