Girl injured when bike collides with SUV

A girl suffered minor injuries when she rode her bike from an alley into a car on Kinslow Street Sunday evening, according to a Hagerstown Police Department spokesman.

The girl, who was about 9 years old, did not stop when she rode onto Kinslow Street and struck the side of a sport utility vehicle, Sgt. Jim Robison said.

The driver of the sport utility vehicle was not at fault in the accident, which was reported at 7:20 p.m., Robison said.

The girl was taken to Meritus Medical Center, Robison said.

No one injured when car crashes into gas pumps

GREENCASTLE, Pa. — No injuries were reported after a 2008 Pontiac G8 crashed into gas pumps Friday at Talhelm’s Gas Station on Buchanan Trail, according to a Pennsylvania State Police news release.

Erica Amber Paylor, 22, of Mercersburg, Pa., was driving east on Pa. 16 around 7:13 p.m. Friday when the accident occurred, police said. The driver lost control of the car while trying to pass another vehicle and crashed into the gas pumps, police said.

The driver and  her two passengers were wearing seat belts, police said.
