In Frederick, traffic on U.S. 15 southbound is slow at the Golden Mile, and it's slow going both ways between Jefferson and Adamstown. Monocacy Boulevard is still closed between South Street and East Patrick Street due to a sinkhole. The exit ramp from I-70 westbound to South Street is also closed.There are also some signal light delays at the Golden Mile, and Jefferson Street is sluggish.
In Hagerstown the only traffic slowdowns are being caused by signal light delays on Dual Highway and downtown.
8:19 a.m.: Hagerstown traffic is still seeing usual slowdowns, with signal light delays on the Dual Highway, West Washington Street and Washington Avenue.
Both accidents on I-270 southbound, in Urbana just after Md. 80 and near Rockville just before Falls Road, have been cleared off. Traffic is still slow, though, in that direction around Urbana, from Frederick to Clarksburg and from Germantown to I-495.
There is another accident on I-70 eastbound near Mt. Airy causing causing delays around New Market, and traffic is also sluggish from Sykesville to Baltimore.
I-81 traffic is slow southbound heading into Winchester, Va., but northbound is fine.
U.S. 340 eastbound traffic is sluggish from Charles Town into Harpers Ferry, and U.S. 340 westbound is slow around Jefferson.

Traffic on I-270 southbound is now backed up because of two accidents. One is just after Md. 80 in Urbana, causing delays in that direction, and the other was a two-vehicle collision near Rockville just before Falls Road. Traffic was already slow from Frederick to Clarksburg and from Germantown to I-495, so this will make it worse.
There is now also an accident on I-70 eastbound just before New Market, causing delays in that direction.
I-81 traffic is slow southbound in Inwood and Falling Waters, in West virginia but northbound is fine.
