Fire company plans basket bingo
Potomac Valley Fire Co. in Dargan will hold a basket bingo Saturday. Doors open at 11:30 a.m and bingo starts at 1 p.m. Tickets cost $15 for regular games (nine-pack) and special games cost $1.

Benevola to hold yard, bake sale April 30
Benevola United Methodist Church, at 19925 Benevola Church Road, will hold a yard and bake sale Saturday, April 30, from 7 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. Look for the large sign along Alternate U.S. 40.
Summer day camp to be held at Shafer Park
The Washington County Recreation Department will host a youth summer day camp in Shafer Park in Boonsboro from June 20 to Aug. 5 from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. each day.
This camp is for those ages 6 to 12. The camp costs $40 per week for county residents and $45 for noncounty residents.
Ag Center to host Alpaca Days
The Washington County Ag Center will host Alpaca Days Saturday and Sunday from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Admission is free.

Citizens to meet
The Citizens for the Preservation of Pleasant Valley will meet Wednesday, April 27, at 7:30 p.m. at the Rohrersville Ruritan Schoolhouse on Rohrersville Schoolhouse Road.
The State Highway Administration will discuss the proposed Portable Variable Message Sign and Dynamic Message Sign on U.S. 340. Refreshments will be served.
Lions plan Friendship Night
The Sharpsburg Lions will hold a Friendship Night on Thursday, May 5. Lions Clubs International is an organization that encourages service-minded men and women to serve their community without personal financial reward.

Be Well to hold Wellness Fair
Be Well Tri-State will hold a free wellness fair Saturday, April 30, from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the stalls at Fairgrounds Park, 521 N. Cannon Ave., Hagerstown.
The event will include entertainment, food, crafts and vendors. Information about holistic health and wellness resources in the tri-state area will be available. There will be on-site massage, reiki and yoga.
Acupuncturists, therapists, chiropractors and fitness professionals will be on hand. The event will be held rain or shine.
