Burglary, theft cases reported in Washington County

The Washington County Sheriff’s Office responded to the following incidents, according to Lt. Mark Knight:

• A burglary in the first block of Saint Paul Street in Boonsboro was reported Tuesday.

• A burglary was reported in the 14000 block of Strite Road in Hagerstown. The property was entered between Thursday and Saturday when a window was removed. Nothing was taken.

• A burglary was reported in the 15000 block of Dorsey Road in Williamsport. The property was entered Sunday or Monday when a side door on a garage was forced open. A plastic container and change were stolen.

•  A vehicle was reported stolen in the 21000 block of Mt. Lena Road in Boonsboro.

• Two M&T Bank checks and funds from a bank account were reported stolen at M&T Bank at 7620 Old National Pike in Boonsboro. The theft was reported March 21.

• A wallet, cash, and a Maryland driver’s license were reported stolen Saturday at Chuck E. Cheese’s at 17618 Valley Mall Road.

• Fuel was reported stolen from the Longmeadow Exxon on Sunday.

• A Kelty four-person tent, water slide, a 12-piece porcelain cook set, a Panasonic microwave and a home fire pit were reported stolen from the Target store at 17213 Cole Road on April 7.

• A battery was reported stolen at the Potomac Fish and Game Club at 14241 Falling Waters Road in Hagerstown.


Traffic accidents, fire alarms in Franklin County

The following incidents were reported by Franklin County (Pa.) Emergency Services:


• At 2:05 a.m., a traffic accident in the 200 block of Edwards Avenue in Guilford Township.

• At 2:07 a.m., a fire alarm in the 7700 block of Talhelm Road in Antrim Township.


• At 11:50 p.m., a fire alarm in the 100 block of Walker Road.

•  At 1:26 a.m., a traffic accident on Interstate 81 at the 17-mile marker.

• At 4:52 a.m., a fire alarm in the first block of South Main Street in Chambersburg.
