Seven appointed to Washington County Board of Education's Facilities and Enrollment Advisory Committee

April 13, 2011

Seven people were appointed this week to the Washington County Board of Education's Facilities and Enrollment Advisory Committee.

The school board voted unanimously Tuesday to approve the appointments. The terms are for two years, expiring April 13, 2013, said Chad Criswell, senior project and planning supervisor.

The committee helped the school board with the last redistricting, Criswell said Wednesday.

According to Criswell, the appointees are:

  • Krista Stotler, head custodian at Clear Spring Elementary School
  • Krista Wells, a materials engineer
  • Staci Doll, a small business owner
  • Mary Newby, a student achievement specialist at Greenbrier Elementary School
  • Ladetra Robinson, owner of Blossom School of Etiquette
  • Carla Viar Pullen, an interior designer
  • Taylor Oliver, owner of Oliver Homes

These appointments give the committee 11 members, Criswell said. The committee typically meets four to six times a year.

Panel objectives include reviewing enrollment data and facilities information to make recommendations on the most efficient use of school facilities, according to the school system's website.
